Can someone explain to me the difference in the 4L60E transmission. In the 98 version, are all of the V6 & V8 the same transmission with a different bellhousing. Also do they use the same torque converter.

Has anyone converted the tail housing of the 4L60E for driven speedometer gears using the 700R4 tailhousing. My 82 Vette needs a driven cable for the speedometer.

Any suggestions would be helpfull.
