Default Shift Kits

Ok, I did some looking around and I couldn't find an answer elsewhere (tried searching for "shift kit" no luck) so here goes. I know the a4 pretty much is my weakest link in my 98 z28, so I'm looking to get a cooler and shift kit for it. My question is should I get the B&M or the transgo? I've heard the transgo is a true transmission kit whereas the B&M only changes the shift points in the computer. Would I see improvements from doing both since they affect two different areas?

For and individua; installing and after market shift kit i would go with the B&M .However if you have the trans out of the car I would go with the transgo.

Yeah I have no plans of yanking the transmission. Thanks much, any other inputs? Just like to know all my options.
