Default Light flywheel

I see a lot of the 6 speed guys running these, Is it worth putting one in an auto car?

I run 11.56 @ 117 with 3.73 gear, ls6 heads 224 cam, 3600 stall

I would think the light flywheel would help with quicker revs, and flashing the converter more off the line and maybe help top end.

personally i think you need to match the weight of the flexplate or flywheel to the weight of your car. i wouldn't go much lighter unless you start remove plenty of weight on the car. i put on a meziere flexplate and it was right around 1 pound heavier than the stock one. this was one of the lightest off the shelf aftermarket flexplates that i have seen.

Flexplates aren't that heavy to begin with, the weight is in the converter!
