i have a 01 a4 with broke 2nd what can i get a replacement tranny out of

98-2003 trans am/camaro
2WD trucks 98-2006 change linkage shaft and tail housing over. 5.3 and 6.0 litre only
2004-2006 GTO same as above change tail housing and linkage shaft.

Or you could just get a built transmission for your car and save the hassle of a used one considering that a used version of any of these are likely to have had a rough life

i would get a built one but in between jobs right now and dont have that much to spend on a tranny so just looking for something to hold me over but thanks for the info

how hard is the linkage shaft and tailshaft to swap over? what about output spines?

output splines are the same on the tail shaft the housing is just a few bolts ,

linkage shaft is remove pan, a clip and a 15mm nut slide out then back in and put clip back and nut be sure to get the index right on the gate its obvious though

atleast u didnt destroy ur gear terrain, case, and shatter ur output shaft like i did last week hah
