Default Where to buy Tranny Parts?

i recently tore into my broken 4l60e, and i'm going to need an entire pump assembly, 2-4 band, forward clutch assembly (not 3-4 or the other one), and a gasket kit. i was just wondering where the best place to buy these would be. I want quality parts and am willing to pay for them if they aren't going to break.

Also, should i have my converter cut and cleaned?

I have talked to performabuilt 3 times now, and i have gotten 3 different prices on a pump assembly 250, 401, and 200.

any guidance here would be appreciated

While when I initially spoke with you I may have said around 250 and today I said 200 because thats was the price I got. I can say that I never said 401.
But anyway the pump which comes from our parts is $200 as for the other parts you need call the parts number in my signature and Rich JR will be happy to help you with those as that a separate part from the hard parts.

As for the converter sounds like your gonna do somewhat of a rebuild so yes I would get it cut.

Alternatly if you like call circle D they sell parts also.

Thanks Frank. The 401 price i received was from Rich Jr. about 5 minutes before i called you this morning. Thats why i was confused. The converter is a PI Vigilante, and they're also on my call list today. I'll give Rich a call back later today to try and get things straight. Thanks!

Ok thats where things got weird, Rich normally sells parts such as clutches and seal kits sprags etc, Parts like pumps while he does have them available he would get from a remanufacturer or new which would explain the price descrepency there he looked at the retail price ordering one from one of our parts suppliers.
The one I spoke of would be one we would go through and then send to you. Which would be $200 plus shipping.
