Default Need oppinions on building my Transmission!!!

Ok So I just put my car together and got it tuned about 3 weeks ago. I put the Stock transmission in it and put a Yank SS4000 stall in it and Guess what! I blew it up in less than 3 weeks.
To kind of help everyone out with whats done to the car, I will tell you it is a 98 Z28 with an LS2 403 Stroker and has all forged internals. It's between 11:1 and 12:1 Compression and has Stock LS6 Heads on it with a 248/254 .614" .620" Lift cam on a 110 lsa! I have a Fast 92/92 setup, LT's, And TSP 3" TD's. Gears are stock 3.42's out of a 6 speed car. I will have MT's on it soon and a cage but thats all for now!
The Transmission is a Stock 4l60E and I have a Big Trans cooler on it already. (before someone asks)

Now I was cruising the car the other day and I lost 3rd gear and 4th is starting to slip as well. I have also noticed on the 2nd gear shift it hits Harder now. I have been looking at different Trans. Shops and they all have a 30-90 day warranty on their transmissions. Not to mention they are all about $2500 +/- I have a buddy who builds them for a living, But I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestion on what to upgrade while I have it rebuilt.

I am looking at the Monster Transmission website and they have a master rebuild kit on their site for $900.00
http://racetransmissions.com/store/p...oducts_id/1031
Has anyone had any dealing with this company and does anyone suggest buying the kit or not! Please Help me out, I really want to get the car back on the road but I just really want it to hold for as long as possible. I know it will be a gamble no matter what, due to the amount of tourque my engine is making. But I know there has to be a kit out there that will hold what I want to do with the car. It's a street/strip car. Any suggestions???

Thanks

James

Have you considered one of the sponsors here? There are several of us and we all have cars running some big power with autos. In our case we have a 1 yr warranty also for a trans only purchase.

I have seen lots of good things about PB Transmissions and Wouldn't mind trying 1 out. But just kinda open for other peoples comments. Thats why I posted here. I do see that you guys have GREAT customer service. A+ in my book.

What would you suggest with my power rating?? And how much $ are we talking for the trans. shipped to me?
I'd like to say I'm making 500-600 Hp at the Flywheel and torque is Crazy in this car. I wouldn't even be able to guess the lb. ft. of torque!
Thanks in advance....

James

I would have to suggest the level 3 you might get by with the level 2 but the level 3 would be best to go with IMO

I'll keep that in mind and get back to you. I appreciate the response.
