Default delayed shifting?

Today when I gave the car some gas it kinda revved a little before it took off...then when I was backing up and put it into drive it took longer than normal to catch...what could this be?

My first guess would be fluid level make sure its top of crosshatch warm.

I did have my transmission fluid flushed and got a new filter with synthetic atf but ill check the leve in the morning...where should the level be cold?

It should still be in the crosshatch just lower than the top .
