delayed shifting?

delayed shifting? Today when I gave the car some gas it kinda revved a little before it took off...then when I was backing up and put it into drive it took longer than normal to catch...what could this be?

I did have my transmission fluid flushed and got a new filter with synthetic atf but ill check the leve in the morning...where should the level be cold?
