Default tranny fluid in my intake!

Hey guys ,I jusT finally installed my rebuilt Rossler stage 3 4l60 and notice my exhaust started smoking really bad, Found out, my intake was filled with tranny fluid being sucked threw the tranny check valve that goes to a vac source which happens to be the side of TB!I found my tranny level was overfilled by 1 quart! Would this be the problem or is something not zip tied tight enough inside my tranny?and if so ?Can this be fixed without pulling the tranny AGAIN!!!LOL

You will need to pull the pan either the vac modulator or the rubber hose going to it in the trans is bad or unhooked.

Look at the hose, and "see" if it has grown. Some fluids have more "seal swell" in them than others. If this is the case, you might want to try another quality brand of fluid, or if you have any additives that could cause the swelling of the hose. Sometimes it is just bad rubber. Whan installing the new hose, use 2 ties at each end, instead of one. Rarely does the vacuum modulator go, but it does happen. Dana
