Bang on part-throttle downshift, bad trans mount?

Bang on part-throttle downshift, bad trans mount? I have a bang when I am traveling less than 30 or so and kick the throttle for a downshift. Could a bad transmission mount cause this? It is a 2000 formula A4 stock with 106,000 miles.

I will get under the car at some point and see what I can find. Is there any way to get to the mount for inspection without dropping the tranny support?
