New stall, my old oil cooler good enough?

New stall, my old oil cooler good enough?
Recently I installed my rebuilt trans and Yank PT4000 Stall. My cooler is the B&M #70264 mounted on the radiator. It's rated at 24,000 GVW/14,400 BTU. I don't have a trans temp guage so I am unaware of what temp. the trans is currently running at but is that particular cooler typically good enough for a stall that loose? Just trying to get some opinions before I go ahead and either get a trans temp. guage or run a larger cooler. I did some searching and tons of people seem to be running the same cooler but haven't seen anybody with 4000ish stalls.

24,000 GVW should be plenty, make sure you clean out the lines and the cooler. Also I would consider running just on that cooler and take out the cooler in the radiator. That may help as well.
You should at least have a guage for temps just incase but I have run w/o and have been fine. its a judgement call and the proper way is to have a guage.

I think I went overkill with my cooler since its a 19row earl's temp-a-cure, part # 41906ERL but, I wanted to make sure the tranny stayed cool. my stall is only a 3600 but, with the d1 I think it stalls a little higher. I think that b&m cooler is fine for your setup.

BYPASS THE RADATOR COOLER it probally has junk caught on in it I had problems with running both coolers just went to the bm one and had not a problem since so just run the lines straight to your BM cooler also flush it out and the tranny lines.
