I need the part # for the shorter section of shift linkage that has the ball end that attaches to the trans. I cannot find it anywhere, and the GM parts sales guys at the dealership are not giving out any part #s due to price shoppers like myself. It is their new ingenious marketshare strategy in dealing with the online dealer parts sellers: instead of being more competitive with pricing, they are going to withhold non-proprietary information to force sales and excel at horrible customer service.
