FADT mounts + FLT 4L60E + Yank TC = IMSM Semi Finals! In an attempt to "stiffen" my Rodney C6/Z06 Rear End, My new Yank TC, and my Level 7 FLT 4L60E tranny, I added a set of FADT new rearend/tranny mounts as I was drag racing with stock GM C6 mounts.
My first outing was race #5 with the IMSM "heads up" drag race group at Great Lakes Dargaway in Union Grove, Wisc.
The results were GREAT! I made it to the Semi Finals in the 9.50 Index racing against some really tough competiton!
My runs were 150.52MPH, 150.75MPH, 147.10MPH, 150.93MPH, 140.88MPH, and 151.56MPH with me "lifting" in most cases trying to run as close to 9.50 as possible.
My last run was a 9.40 which was a "breakout" in the semi final round!
Dan Bills gave me some super suggestions pertaining to tire pressure as the evening wore on and the weather got cooler!
