Question a4 to M6

how much would it cost to swap my 2000 TA A4 trans for a t56. just asking shop lador fees.

it really depends where you live. i cant say much for texas, but things sure are pricey in NJ. I'd say your looking at anywhere between 1k-1.5k

I've been considering the swap for a while now as well. I'd rather pay the 1.5 to 2k to keep the car I have now then sell it for an m6 car but that's just me.

I did the swap myself on the garage floor. No one even knows it was an A4.
Everything works and looks factory, and it still has the A4 harness. The most expensive tool I used was HP Tuners.

Then I bought an A4 car, so I have both.

How did you know how to do it? How long did it take? How much did it cost,parts wise?
