trans issues on 150 hit!
i've ran the 150 shot on it last year about 5 times without any problems and making some 10 sec. passes with 9* of timing pulled out... so far this year i've been running 7.0 on the 100 shot without any problems but i went to spray it again on the 150 a month or so ago and the first pass went like a 7.0 @ 98... which is what it mph's on the 100... i began to notice that when it went from 2nd to 3rd it stayed in 2nd alot longer than usual which is whats making me run slower... i put the 100 shot jets back in it and it shifted fine??? someone said the converter could be toast but idk...

When running power adders of any type that incresae hp/torque output, it is many times nessesary to change shift comand time to compensate, You have to bear in mind when you increase power this also increases the rate at which the RPM rise during a run. The time however that it takes the trans to actually make the shift is a constant so this must be taken into consideration.
Also its generally more notable for the 2-3 shift simply because the shift itself is more complicated hydraulically and take more time to complete in the first place.
