Default T56 to 4l60E Questions

ok here is the jist of my story. I had a T-56 car which i converted to a turbo 400. At this point im giving up on the project and returning the car close to stock. I already sold the T-56, all the hydralics and everything. So i am just going to use a 4L60E i had laying around. Other than a Harness is there anything i need or any tuning stuff i need to look out for?

I am doing the same thing to my car and one thing you will have to do is get your computer reprogrammed for the a4. I havent got to the wiring part yet. Thanks, Joe

I have been told that you will need to replace the computer.

I dont think you can reprogram the computer your car came with to work with the 4l60e. This could be misinformation, but it has been my experience

You can just flash a tune from an auto car on there. Just make sure the year is the same. I've done it before, it works fine.
