4l60e question need an answer When installing the tourque converter do you fill up the tc before installing it or does it not matter... thanks for your input

Its certainly not a bad idea to try and get a little fluid in it you will not be able to get it full . However 1/2 to a quart should be fine. Truth is the pump will fill it up instantly on start up . But puttng some in may give a little lubrication for those few seconds and keep you from evacuating the pan on start up
