Default Is This Bad for the Tranny?

most of the time when i am driving i will let off the gas to let the tranny shift itself instead of just pressing the gas and just having it shift at like 2k rpms. am i helping the tranny out or just making it worse?

as soon as you do that, something breaks. Just drive it normally and it should be fine.
