Default Budget Tranny setup....

I am trying to decide on what transmission to go with...The car is a weekend warrior and will be taken to the track a few times a year.... It is a 3600# 5.3 turbo car with 9" 3.70 gears....

1) I want a trans-brake

2) It needs to be able to handle 800HP so i have room for more HP (im at 528hp 491tq right now and hope to be around 600hp after i get my issue figured out)

3)It needs to be budget minded, I HAVE A TIGHT BUDGET... i am currently saving and will be saving till tax season, and hopefully will be able to afford one... I cant just go buy one in a month or so like a lot of guys do, i only make $10.5/hr and work my *** off 60-80hrs a week to pay the bills and buy my mods....

I want something i can beat on that will last, at the track and the street.... the car see's about 4-10,000 miles a year.

Who has the best deal on a tranny to meet my needs? Performabuilt, FLT, Coan, performancetransmissions, Rossler, sure i have forgotten some........

Just trying to figure everything out for the swap... and what its gonna cost.

Thanks for your time guys!!!!!!!

Th400 or a glide.
Th400 will probably be cheaper since no hard parts will be needed (assuming 34 element sprag) other than the brake.
