Default A stupid Th400 question

How do I add fluid? I've got the Lokar flexible stick, do I just pour it down that? Or am I missing something here, lol?

Just pull out the dipstick and add the fluid until the dipstick says full.

Keep in mind that you will have to have the engine running in order to check the correct fluid level. That lokar stick has a small diameter so you will have to take your time and I personally would over fill it some before firing the engine for the first time. Maybe an extra quart or so due to the time it takes to get the oil down the stick so you are not running without oil in the trans. You could always start the engine for like 10-15 seconds and then shut it off. Check the level, add, restart and so on until you are close when you feel it is close and can keep the engine running without starving the trans of oil. Hope this makes sense. Vince

not sure if they have changed the tubes, they used to give you an adapter to use to help filling-prob is air cant escape to let the fluid run down-i cut notches in the outside off the adapter, helped-of course, you have to have the dipstick accurate
