What STR for my converter

What STR for my converter I have learned what the diffrence is but what is everyone using? I would be te head/cam, drag radial, daily driven, most action being on the street. Correct me if i'm wrong if i have 4.10 gears. (which don't seem to be the gear of choice in the auto world on the street) I would want want to go with a below 2.0-2.5 str so i dont spin to much at the line. The gears would take care of my lower rpm and the below 2 str would take care of me overall especially in the mid to upper rpms. Am i on the right track? Please anyone educate me if i am wrong. Thanks to all.
