Automatic/Manual valve bodies for TH400 and other transbrake questions
Has anyone tried using one of these valve bodies? Was just curious as to its affectiveness.
Also i was curious if the same rules applied for a TH400 with out a trans brake as they do with if you have a manual valve body, as far as down shifting is concerned.
Also does anyone know of a transbrake setup that is streetable? I have to drive this thing to work everyday and there are a lot of stop signs on the way. I dont want to have to make a complete stop everytime i need to sown shift.

Rossler sells a 400 with all the goodies (billett high gear drum) in it that they claim you can downshift or throw it in neutral at the end of the track.
A 400 with a brake is a nice thing to have but will be a pain for an every day driven car, just my 2 cents. I'm still building mine but have ridden in my friends car with a brake (glide) and it gets old if your doing alot of city driving.

we offer brakes for street use as well as pro brakes. We also have the billet drums double spragues, vasco shafts, etc. We also have complete units. The full manual units are very driveable on the street but you have to shift it up and down no matter what. As far as putting it in nuetral after going thru the lights it is not recomended as the drum may explode as it is turning your rpm times 1.78. Not saying that they will or will not but why take the chance!!!
