Default A4 to Turbo 350/400 How to wire Neutral Safety Switch?

Changing from an A4 to a Turbo 400. There is a cluster of wires on my factory shifter. Do I have to slpice into a wire for my new NSS on my B&M shifter or is there another way?

Thanks

You are correct! Most after market shifters come with a microswitch that engages (or disengages) in neutral.

Never done an auto swap but it looks like grounding the orange/black wire (see pic) allows it to start. The PN switch is on the side of the shifter and thats where the wire should be. Just ground one side of the microswitch (or use the ground in the harness) and hook the orange/blk to the other side..
