since everything is on sale im thinking of sprying my t.a its a 98 with 77,000 miles on it completly stock thinking of getting a 3600-3800 stall and spraying a 100 shot. how long will the stock trans last. prob going to get full exhaust too.

On my old ss I had bolt ons, nitto dr's and a 100 shot and the trans was slipping bad after 1 nitrous pass, 125k miles

i've been spraying my stock tranny with a 100 shot for 2 years now without any issues...3k stall here

Just make sure you add a tranny cooler as well.

It appears to be a hit and miss proposition. I knew a guy who sprayed 150-175 hp on his '02 Z28 with a Vigilante 2800 but otherwise stock tranny out of the hole for a bunch of low 11 sec passes at 120+ before the trans let go. Others have had the tranny pack up and leave on the very first nitrous hit.

dont spray it out the hole or through the shifts and it will last longer before it starts slipping. DONT SPRAY 4th GEAR
