Default Need Performance parts 4L60E in my truck

Alright guys i have a 2000 silverado 2wd 5.3 cam, headers, intake and some other miscellaneous bolt ons. the transmission has lazy shifts and is only getting worse. So im wanting to get it rebuilt but would like to put some high performace parts in it. If anyone knows of somewhere i can get a kit with "good" parts not oem stuff or send my trans off and get it built some info would be greatly appreciated thanks. I hear its the same trans as in the F-Bodies. Technically its a 4L65! Thanks guys any info is always appreciated!!

4l65's have 5 gear plants in them I belive. I would look around where you live first for a trans builder. Monster transmissions sells kits for the 4l60-e as do tons of others on the internet. Heavy duty sunell, as well as a real good clutch pack, biger aply bands, aply servo's, reworked valve body and fresh pump and coverter are the big things most trans guys change. Do an additional trans cooler as well as as a deeper pan if it does not have them already. Heat kills. As for the 4l65 I don't know what types of parts are in it from the factory.
