tranny rebuilt kits i want to know whats a good rebuild kit for a auto 4l60e
got a friend that drives a 99 corvette his tranny went out...
i want to rebuild mine too but dont know which rebuild kits r good so need some help??????

Call Performabuilt, FLP, or one of the other vendors on here and they will have some good suggestions. But I would NOT try to rebuild one on your own unless you have done several. Setting the clearances is critical (clutch/steels) and w/out special tools pulling the pump is difficult & installing the servo is near impossible (the ratchet strap trick is a option). These are not a simple power powerglide rebuild.
