Default Splicing an auto pigtail into a 6 speed harness

If someone was looking to swap an auto into a vehicle that is currently a 6 speed, could you splice in an automatic pigtail?

I know what you're thinking, just get an auto harness. However, the vehicle in question is a hybrid, and has a custom stand alone harness.

Just curious how much of the auto pigtail I would need to chop off of an f-body harness to make this work.

Opinions?

Not hard at all. steal the wires from the PCM to the trans (unpin-repin at the pcm connector) add the wire for the brake pedal (can re-purpose one of the T56 wires) and add a 10 Amp keyed +12V to the trans connector. Or buy a kit that does this with new wires (probably around the $100 range).
