I autocrossed my car once and on the 3rd lap the trans seemed to start whineing a little bit ,,,after it cooled off no noise. I took the car to the track and after my second 12.56 second pass she starts whineing a little again. No noise after it cooled off. Is that the front pump or what ==sounds like a power steering pump that needs fluid. The trans has 59 k on it. anybody experienced this before?? The trans never slipped or anything just started making that noise ==like it got hot.

Have you checked the fluid? Does it need to be changed? is it low? Do you have a trans cooler? If not you should get one ASAP.
