Default 4l60-E question

Hey guys,
I tried looking for info about this but couldn't find any. I was wondering how many quarts of transmission fluid a 4l60-E would take out of a 2002 z28. I was also curious as to how much more I would possibly need for the transmission cooler and its lines, since I had a shop add one. Second, what is the best fluid for the buck?
Thanks in advance and any input would be greatly appreciated..

12 with a stock Torque converter if you are replacing all of the fluid, 4-5 if just draining the pan.
