Default '98 Z28, stock 4l60e... Corvette Servo?

I've got my trans pulled down to install a Yank SS3600. I also have a corvette servo kit. While looking up the install, I saw a post that stated the '98-'02 F-bodies already have the corvette servo in the trans. Is this accurate? Want to know before I take things apart for no good reason, or put it up without doing the upgrade and cursing later.

Thanks!

Ok, good news, as the trans is back in the car now and I didn't want to screw with it.
