Will a 1995 Roadmaster/Caprice/Impala SS 4l60e go into my Trans Am smoothly without any work to my car or the trans itself?? How about any other years of RM/Caprice/Impala?

Yea the 95 buick roadmaster trans will work. It has to be out of a 95 and it has to be date coded 95. 95 is one year specific.

And everything will go together perfect, such as wiring harness, bellhousing bolt pattern? Where do you find the date code?

How about shifter location? Arent RM's column shifts? Will my floor shift parts match perfectly to the RM's?

Sorry for all the questions, but my current trans is about to grenade and low on cash. Also, is the 95 Impala SS trans the same as well? I just found a great deal on one and could absolutely use it. lol

Yes the 95 impala SS will work too. You will need to change the tail housing tho. Your f-body trans has the torque arm mount cast into the tail housing and the Impala doesn't have that. It is very simple to change. Also change your shifter lever where the shifter cable attaches. There is also a bracket that holdes your shifter cable that is held on by 2 transmission pan bolts. Let me know if you have any other questions.
