Default HUGHES DEEP ALUMINUM TRANSMISSION PAN and 9.5" converter

I am installing a second trans cooler, a edge 9.5" converter and a hughes deep trans pan. I am wondering if the pan will hit when I drive it and how much fluid will I need to add with the new converter and deep trans pan?

How much fluid will it take to fill a 4l60e with a 9.5" converter and stock pan.

Depends on how long it sits. Completely dry they will hold close to 10 quarts. If you drop the pan quick and put it back together it should only lose about half of that. Plus 2 quarts for your deeper pan, plus the half a quart or so in the converter, plus the cooler lines and bigger cooler. You might as well buy a case of fluid, or 3 gallons, whichever would be more convenient.

When I dropped my trans I got every bit of fluid out by standing the trans up on its tail. I didnt think alot came out but I ended up putting 8-9qts in it all together.
So I would say maybe 9qts for the trans, maybe 1qt for the tc, and then however much deeper the new pan is.
