Default 80e shifter linkage?

Got me a jakes 80e and I have a b&m pro ratchet shifter. I called b&m and they said their linkage only works with quicksilver and prostick. Anybody have any ideas to fabricate one or have any experience with this?

Use the th400 bracket, and mod it to bolt to the pan. Make an backwards "L" shaped bracket that is bent outward to clear the pan (very similar to the one that comes with the kit for a th400), but at the bend in the "L", drill a hole and put a bolt through it so you can adjust it. Adjust it until it goes into each gear perfectly, then weld the 2 pieces together and remove the bolt.

i dont know who you talked to, but the pro rachet works with an 80e
i had a turbo 400 in mine, then switched to an 80e, just rem the pin and put a new sel. tape on the shifter, and used a diff hole in the shifter arm-does
i used the same mtg bracket, diff holes
