Converter Stall For Stock 5.3l
Running a stock 5.3l out of an 01 Silverado in a 90 mustang hatch. Car weighs about 2600 lbs. without driver. Running a powerglide for a transmission and 3.73 rear gears.
The 5.3l is stock with an Ls1 Intake, 02 TA Ws6 Injectors, only accessories i am running is the alternator and water pump. Stock 01 TB & Maf, and will have a custom tune on the PCM.
Getting ready to put the car together and one of the last items I need is a torque converter. New to these LS-series motors, what would the ideal stall be for this setup? This car is a drag race only thing, will only be driven on the street to get to the track.
