How strong is the 4L80E overdrive?

Default How strong is the 4L80E overdrive?

Can I run the car hard in overdrive or do I need to gear the car to stay out of overdrive in the 1/4?

Shift it to OD!
Probably more efficient to run in 1-3rd, but you won't hurt it.
