I've been doing searches for 4l65 dimensions. Specifically I've been looking for the mounting pad difference between a 700r4 and a 4l65. I always thought they were the same but while looking for a crossmember for my 68 firebird with my ls set back 3"s putting the face at the stock location for a sbc I have found that guys that sell a 700r4 conversion crossmember say it won't work for the 4l65. On top of that some of the dimensions or crossmembers I have found say it will only work to a certain year 4l65. My trans is an 05. Any thoughts? Is there a difference in mounting pad locations?
