4L60E...450 lb-ft?
Ok, I'm looking at making around 450lb-ft @ the wheels. Might go TH400 in the future- but for now- can't a afford a tow vehicle.
Will a decently built 4L60E hold up to that? I'm running on 10.5" slicks with a nice suspension setup- so the car WILL hook...is this borderline? too much power? or should it be ok...
Also not looking to rebuild it every season...

I know i am over 450lbs of tq to the ground.
I think a "decently built" trans will be good for more than a few seasons (if treated well),lots of clean fluid .

I love their Level IV 4L60E. Lots of guys making way more power than me using it for tons of street miles and constant track/WOT runs as well.
