I am in the process of converting my jeep crawler to 6.0 lq9. I have a later model, 97 i think, 4l60e and i need some wiring info. i need to know the schematic for the two plugs on the range selector/nuetral saftey switch on the side of the trans. one plug has six wires and the smaller plug has 4. thanks for any help!!!

ok i have another ? for the transmission guys. if this range selector is not wired up will it keep the transmission from up shifting? my problem with this thing is it only has 1 forward gear. im not sure if its 1st gear or 2nd bc the jeep is so low geared. It has a 2000 4.3 engine swap.the trans has been this way since it has had the 4.3 swap, im trying to get this trans problem fixed before i go to the 6.0 so that way i know its good and has no problems. The trans does not slip and has not given any other problems since it has been swapped (about 4 yrs). all help is greatly appreciated!

If its stuck in forward gear it will default to second gear. It does that when it has no power to the main plug.

i do show power at the main plug and all the connectors look good. im not sure were to look from here.. the wiring inside the trans also looks good and has no shorts too ground or any of that... what other problems might cause no up shift?
