Default 95 lt1 tranny issue please help

Hey guys I'm posting this for a buddy of mine, so my friend just bought a 95 trans am and it is a nice car but it might have some issues, basically at wot when it shifts it bounces off the rev limiter TWICE then decides to shift, does it in every gear. My guess is the tranny is on its way out? What do you guys think?

If its doing it in every gear I would suspect that maybe a tune would help his situation. Being that he just got the car its hard to say what has been done in the past. I would start there.

ok ill start there then, whoever had the car before deff messed with it they actually wired the fans to the fog light switch so the only time the fans come on is when the switch is on, god only knows what else they did...

It could easily be a tuning issue if it has a loose converter in it.

What is the fluid condition?

Also, make sure it's full of fluid, even 1/2 over full would be fine.
