Default Launching with a TCI 4400..

I just had a new TCI 4400 installed today replacing my PI #7 pump..I've been so use to leaving at idle for the past 3 years just wanting to find out how people are leaving with this converter..

The car will be on M&H Racemasters and its a heads and cam motor with 4:10 gears..I'm going to the track this Saturday night to take advantage of what cool weather we still have left...

Any help will be greatly appreciated..

I would say brake stall it up till you feel the rear loaded(lift up) and start there on my 3800 it's about 2500-2700 so for your 4400 it might be 3200-3500 maybe. I would start there and try out other rpm's till you find out which it likes best.

I have better luck stalling it up to 1900 and flashing it the rest of the way.

I stalled mine up to the point of the rear loading up (Approx 3000-3200). That was the only way I could get it to hook. I tried at 2000 and 2500 but the ET Drags couldn't hold consistantly.
