Default Shift Kit or Electronic Shift Kit

Guys I just picked up a 2000 Camaro SS, and it's automatic. I would like to install a shift kit, but since this is an electronic transmission I need to ask this question because I'm use to old school Th350s and 400s. What would be best for a traditional shift kit, where you knock down the valve body, or an electronic unit that you control by the push of a button, or both?

Or this

Or Both?

There are 'kits' that help improve the performance, but you'll find a lot more support for the TransGo HD2 kit around here.

Being in Oakland, CA, you should be able to find a good local tuner that can do many things thru the laptop tuning.

Read, Read, ..., & then read some more.
I'm not a transmission guy at all, but I don't recall see many threads with those types of programmers around here.
Even tho I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, ...

Read up on converter swaps. You'll see a huge improvement in response/performance.

The trans go hd2 is basically a traditional/old school shift kit right?

That's a lot of springs in that kit. How difficult is this kit to instal.

Not hard at all. The instructions are pretty clear, and some springs you don't use. They're just included to cover all the design changes inside the valve body. I'd say R&R of the valve body is a bigger pain than installing the kit.

I'm going to have to take a stab at it.
