Default 4l60e

I found a deal on a 4L60E transmission that, according to the owner has just about all new parts inside. A few differen kits were purchased and installed.
Any way my question is: it's built for an lt1, it has a "k" case I believe, been converted from 4 wheel drive to 2 wheel drive. And will it work in an ls1 2000 Trans am ? What modification is needed?
Thanks in advance for your response.

U will need to replace the input shaft/drum and stator support or entire pump to work with ls1.....some transmission exp would be helpful, but not at all an impossible job

I could use the pump of my transmission? That WOULD change the input shaft?
What about the coverter? Do I need a special/custom build?

Your f-body unit has the removable "ls1" bellhousing, the truck "k" does not. U could do as I said but u will not get the top middle bolt and the over all spacing is different. I would find another unit, or build yours.

Damn.
I did call PTC today and spoke on the phone with ??? Some dude. He said the same thing. I asked him about a custom converter and was told he would not recomend going that route dew to the cost of the converter, and other variables.
