Question Am I running the right converter???

Hey guys....been lurking quite a while now, this Drivetrain forum has the best info I've seen anywhere!

I'm running the converter in my sig. Peak HP with my car is 6300rpm, and I'm currently shifting at 6600. Shift extension is 5250rpm. Running 3.73's, with a 26" tire. Not planning on spraying.
Am I a candidate for something along the lines of a Yank YPT4200-4400? This is a sometime driver car, with emphasis on getting the most of it at the track. I am not put off whatsoever with a loose converter. I can tolerate a lot. I'm in the process of spending a nice chunk of change on getting this car to launch harder.

Currently running 12.5's in bad air with a 2.0 short time. I'd like to see the MPH a little higher as well, but that should come when the weather is better.

TIA

I use my car as a sometimes driver. I really am enjoying the 4400 stall. Shift kit and programming is a must in my opinion. I cut 1.7 60's with my 3200 stall. Havent been to the track with the 4400 yet. On the street it pulls really hard! Lots of fun...
