Default Th400 to 2003 LQ4

Not quite sure how to line up the torque converter on my th400 to my 2003 LQ4. I was reading something about a long crank and a short crank? I'm not sure which crank I have since its an aftermarket callies compstar crank? I have a B&M holeshot 3000 stall. i was looking in buying this flexplate http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HUP-HP4004X/ from summit. Do I need a spacer with that flexplate to bolt them up?

Thanks

The 2003 LQ4 should have the shorter, or regular LS crank. It should stick out past the block about .315. We have an SFI flexplate that will have the LS and TH350 bolt patterns, and most performance TH400 converters have dual bolt patterns. You will also need a converter pilot extension because the regular GM pilot is not long enough to reach the LS crank. Give me a call or shoot me an email if you have any questions.
