Default Question for those running Hughes flexplate and TH400 converter

Just about to order parts and I want to confirm a couple of things.
I have a 2001 6.0l and I want to run my TH400 with a SBC 8 inch converter.
If I order the Hughes SFI flexplate (Hughes Performance HP4004X) can i run either the GM (12563532) or the Hughes (HP3795) spacer? And does this flexplate need any modification to the bolt holes as the factory GM on does?
Thanks in advance, I did search but it seems all the info is spread over dozens of posts and I couldn't find an answer to this particular question.
Cheers

Yes, it should work. Only assumption is that your converter has the smaller 10.75" bolt pattern. Most converters will have the dual pad option, so it will fit most setups. FYI, we also carry the Hughes style flexplate and pilot extension.
