Default Stall before cam

Hey guys so I want a stall. Within a year or so I want to install the ms3 cam and 4000 yank ss. Would it be okay to put a 4000 stall in before the cam and still drive etc? I'm talkin like a stall now and cam a year later. Thanks

I don't see where the issue would be with that, you can just get a mail order tune to hold you over so you can drive it around until you are ready to get a cam.

^ that's what I did. Sent my PCM out to frost and I'm good to go. Many people do stall first it's very common and you won't have any issues. Just make sure you have a good trans cooler.

I know I can put a stall in but is a 4000 stall okay? It's not to high for a stock cam?

You can do a 4k stall and be fine. Absolutely do the trans cooler.
