4l80E can you hold it in Low gear?

I put a transgo hd2 kit in my 4l80e and thought I would be able to hold it in manual low. But when I do it self shifts to second. Could it be my shifter isn't adjusted right?

No, the PCM is shifting it to 2nd. Without a full manual conversion, the only other way to keep it from happening is to modify the tune to stop it from happening.

How would one go about modifying the tune? is it something that could be done via HP tuners, or would the file itself need to be segmented?
