Default which STR in a TC?

I am looking at getting a TC for my 2001 Z28. I have the 2.73 gears and was looking at a 3400 stall, but want to know which STR would be better 1.7 or 2.0?

I do not take my car to the track. It is a daily driver and needs to be used year round and I live in MA so it has to be driveable (or manageable at least) in a little bit of snow. I am not looking for tire shredding performance and would ideally like to use street tires. But am just looking for which STR is better for my application. If it helps I am not planning any engine work, i will not be using nitrous. I might get headers, and am definitely going to switch to 3.42 gears once I save more money.

I just want to be able to launch quick from stop light to stop light in case I encounter and annoying mustangs.
