Default Guesstimate on how much for re-stalling a converter??

Right now i have a P.I vigilante 4k stall, it seems to hate the 150 shot, so i want to have it tighten up and re-stalled to a 3200... Do you guys know how much would be a fair price to have it restall? it came with the car when i bought it, so i guess no free restalling, just weighting the options as if i want to have it restall/freshen or just sell it and go to a diff brand....

Companies charge $75-$150 typically for a restall, possibly as high as $200

if I have a vigilante, does it have to be them, or any of the other big companies could restall it too?

Other companies can do it. You may even find a local shop that is competent to do it.

thanks.. I tried a search and didn't find any info on a 4k vigilante efficiency or str, Anyone knows?? Thinkin about re-stalling to 3200 wit lower str that would make it more usable for nitrous... or maybe buy a used PY3600 someone is selling me, but don't know what would be a better choice..inputs welcome

I just sent my viligant converter to precision to get cleaned/checked and they told me $265! I guess I will be going over the price with them again to get the price right.
