Default output shaft...bent? how to check?

ok i break tailshaft housings like they are made out of paper...

i broke one a long time ago at high speed with a steel driveshaft, and the driveshaft was still on the output shaft of the tranny but pointed towards the ground

i *think* that this probably *slightly* bent the output shaft and that is why i am still breaking these housings...

i have replaced...

tranny rebuild -> basically a stage 2 perf rebuild
steel driveshaft -> chromoly
new tranny mounts -> 1le, poly, stocker...tried them all

i have no suspension mods that would change pinion angle...

i've had the tailshaft housing off numerous times (obviously because they go boom bitch whenever i fill out 3rd gear a few times). i have looked at the output shaft and it doesn't look bent, it lines up straight in the housing with the driveshaft off...

can anybody think of a good way for me to be able to tell FOR SURE the output shaft is bent with the tailshaft housing off???

i don't want to pull the tranny AGAIN if not needed, but im guessing that is why i break them...

advice?

a tranny guy told me he might be able to BEEF UP a stock housing...i might try that...
