Adjusting Shift Points Stock A4 Trans Am
I recently purchased a 99 trans am (my first LS1) it is mainly stock however it has 3.73 gears. Last week I took it to the strip and noticed when shifting from 2nd to 3rd it hits rev limiter pretty bad. Once this happened I realized the shift points must not have been adjusted from stock gears. Right now both shift points are around 58-6000 rpm. My question is what should my shift points be adjusted to in order to reach my cars full potential? My best pass hitting rev limiter and tire spin was 13.50 @ 103mph

Do you have a tuner for setting the WOT and partial throttle shift speed tables?
If you do, refer to the Sticky for tuning shift points:

As a rough guestimate, your 2-3 shift should occur at 73 mph assuming 3.73 rear with 26" tall tires and a 6000 rpm shift. I would suggest setting the shift MPH about 5% lower so that you can change the shift just by tuning the WOT shift RPM. Remember that at WOT, BOTH the shift MPH -and- the shift RPM have to be reached.

2>3 is a super lazy shift even with a healthy transmission. I have to command mine around 6k for it to complete about 64-6500 and I run a 6700 limiter. It must meet the mph criteria FIRST, then rpm. Make sure its all in sync and enough time to complete the shift before the limiter hits. Notice my 700 rpm window on 2>3, other shifts do not require near that much.
